Years ago I was a HUGE baseball fan.  I fell in love with the Atlanta Braves and watched them constantly on TV.  Over the years I stopped keeping up with baseball, mostly because the network TBS stopped broadcasting Braves games.  Click here to read all about my obsession!

Anyway, I saw a clip the other day that blew my mind.  This has to be the WORST call in baseball history....and it helped the Braves win.

Jimmy Kimmel (dressed up like Daniel Craig in the new movie Cowboys and Aliens) describes it perfectly.





Is it obvious to everyone else that this umpire should be fired?  The ball was CLEARLY at the plate LONG before the base runner made it, and the catcher CLEARLY tagged the base runner out LONG before he reached home plate!  WHAT THE HECK IS THIS ALL ABOUT?!?  Wrong, so very wrong!

Yeah, it's Friday!  It's been a while since I've had a REALLY good laugh, so I'm turning to the show that always makes me laugh, Whose Line Is It Anyway.

In today's clip, the game Song Styles goes hilariously wrong when Wayne can't spell the name Howard correctly, and the keyboard somehow speeds itself up during the song, making it almost impossible to sing.

Indiana Jones and The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull is not only the worst Indiana Jones film, but it is slowly working it's way up the "worst movie" list.  We all know what three movies are ahead of this one on that list.  Funny, all four movies were written by the same man.  Hmmm, interesting.


How It Should Have Ended is a HILARIOUS website that spoofs popular movies and changes the endings to make them better (well, most of the time).

While I attending BYU-ID I had the honor of being in the Women's Choir.  The first year I was there, we inagurated a new school president, David A. Bednar, now a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.  With President Hinckley present, we sang Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing, a song that gives me chills every time I hear it.

The following is a version by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir that was sang during President Hinckley's 95th birthday celebration.

There's nothing better than a little NCIS on Friday!  I found this video on YouTube and thought that it was great.  Using Wil Smith's Men In Black theme song, it shows the wonderful men that make NCIS so awesome!  And the head slaps are, as always, funny.

These are the times that I really miss having cable television.  One of my favorite TV shows is the American version of Whose Line Is It Anyway.  The Game Show Network and Drew Carey have just premiered Drew Carey's Improv-A-Ganza.  The cast is almost the same as those who were regulars on Whose Line, with a few new people.

The difference between this show and Whose Line?  It's completely improvised and they (Drew Carey) have more say about what happens on the show.

Here now, because this is all I can get for the time being, is a commerical promoting Drew Carey's Improv-A-Ganza

My sister LOVES the movie Inception.  And when I say she loves it, that really is an understatement.  I would say she's borderline obsessed with this movie! 

I really like this movie too.  It's one of those rare movies that gets you really thinking.  And for the record, I think the top kept on spinning.

This clip is really for my sister, to poke fun at her favorite movie.  But it's also great for anyone who's seen the movie.

The kids today think that Star Wars is all about Anakin Skywalker, Jar Jar Binks, and the horrible pod races! 

When I think that people are older than they really are; it makes me wonder, am I beginning to look old too?

September 11th was almost 10 years ago

I graduated high school 15 years ago this June

My husband is only turning 30 this year!  Being older than your spouse sucks!!

I was lucky enough to inherit the "go grey early" gene.  If I didn't color my hair, it would be a scary sight!  And how unfair is it that grey hair on a man is "distinguished", but on a woman it means she's old?!?

Well, I could only think of 8, sorry.

Have I mentioned that I love Burn Notice?  I am going through withdrawals since it's in hiatus and doesn't come back until the summer.  I've already watched, re-watched, and once more watched seasons 1 - 3; I'm waiting impatiently for season 4 to be released on DVD!!

The movie Twilight, and the other movies from the franchise have inspired a lot fighting.  People either love them or hate them.  Those that love them are adamant that they are the greatest movies on earth; those that hate them, REALLY, REALLY hate them and think they are the worst movies ever made.

I really enjoyed the books...I will always recommend reading the books to those who can't stand the movies; THE BOOKS WERE SO MUCH BETTER!  I liked the movies, but on a "ooo, that was just simple fun" level.  I knew I wasn't going to find anything mind changing in them, so I wasn't let down.

I like this clip because it shows the highlights of the movie in about 3 minutes!  If you haven't seen this movie, this clip will have a lot of spoilers in it, so this is your warning!

Back in November ABC broadcast the American Music Awards.  Like the MTV video/movie awards, I rarely watch this show anymore either.  However, this year I tuned in (well set the DVR!) because of one act.  My beloved New Kids On The Block were going to perform.  The only down-side/weird thing about it was that they had teamed up with The Backstreet Boys and this was their first performance as a "new" group before going on tour together.

For the most part, I enjoyed this performance.  The beginning of "I Want It That Way" was AWFUL...he was COMPLETELY off key.  They did a good job of making their songs into medleys.  And I really enjoyed the last 2-3 minutes of it.  I think it was clear which group still "has" it, and which group needs to just go away!  (and yes, I mean NKOTB is the better group!!!)

Would I pay to see a concert by both groups?  I would never pay to see The Backstreet Boys; but having only seen NKOTB once in my life, and missing the opportunity to see them when their latest album came out, yes, I would pay to see NKOTB!
